Sales & Account Management · Dublin → London

A bit about me

I'm 26, based in Dublin, and moving to London at the end of October. The last two years have been commercial roles, one in a creative agency and one in B2B sales, and I want to move properly into technology sales.

Talking to people is the part I've never had to work at. Most of my accounts are senior council engineers who have been at it a lot longer than I have, so I've learned how to be useful to someone rather than just polite. I work well around other people and I don't wait to be told what to do next.

Why Billigence

I want to learn outbound properly. My current role has plenty of client development in it, but the market is small and some of the work is guaranteed through tendering, so I've never had to build a pipeline from nothing. That's the gap I want to close.

The technology interest is real. I use AI tools every day and I've built two of my own web apps with them: a personal finance tracker that syncs to Google Sheets, and a golf stats tracker for a club team. Small projects, but they gave me a proper feel for how data gets structured and put to use.

The research side of the role is the part of selling I already enjoy most, and account management is the direction I want to go anyway.
