Applying for  Sales Coordinator — International Properties Division  at Excel Sports Management, London

A bit about me

I'm 25, based in Dublin, and relocating to London. I've spent the last couple of years in commercial roles — one in a creative agency, one in B2B sales — and I'm looking to move into a more dynamic, fast-paced sales environment. I'm good with people, comfortable picking up the phone to someone I've never spoken to, and I take ownership of accounts rather than waiting to be told what to do.

I work well in environments where you're coordinating across different teams, managing multiple things at once, and expected to use your initiative. That's been the common thread across both roles so far.

Why Excel

Honestly, the role caught my eye because it made sense for where I want to go commercially. A sales coordinator role at an agency operating at this level — working across properties, brand partnerships, and client relationships on an international scale — is exactly the kind of environment I want to be developing in. The fact that it's sport makes it more interesting, not less.

Outside of work

Sport has always been a big part of my life. I play golf to a competitive level and have a genuine interest in the commercial side of it — sponsorship, brand partnerships, how rights holders and brands work together at major events. I caddied at the ISPS Handa World Invitational on the DP World Tour and LPGA circuit, which gave me a first-hand look at how a major sports property operates beyond just the competition itself.

I also run — currently training for a half marathon, which is doing nothing for my golf handicap.
